So we bought this car as a roller from a Chevy guy a year and a half ago. It was pretty rough when we bought it. Not to mention I had to start and build from the ground up. They had the wrong suspension on the car, rear end, BS on wheels and everything else that you could imagine. The interior was an absolute disaster. They had went to town with black spray paint on everything to include the carpet and the seats. Everything you touched was like 80 grit sandpaper. They were going to relocate the battery to the trunk and they used 2 sets of jumper cable wire spliced together for the hot and ground. They also had a fuel cell in the trunck with a inline fuel pump. They used 16 guage speaker wire to power the pump. These 2 guys were absolute idiots. Anyways I put a gas tank in it and moved the battery back up to the front.

I cant thank Jesse(stangman) enough for all the help he gave me on this. If it wassn't for him this thing would still ne on jack stands like it was for the last 16 months. I still have a few items to take car of and it will be complete.

The engine is a 302 out of an explorer with a stock cam. Lakewood upper and lower control arms and stock springs. Everything else is stock to include the 2.73 gear that came in the rear end I bought for it. That will be getting changed real soon. Here are some pics of the exterior, interior and engine bay. The entire engine bay and back thru the trans tunnel has been chasis savered.

Guess your woman is better behind the wheel than mine. Last coupe she drove got 3 parked cars. Then I sold it to facemelter.

Good looking coupe hillbilly wired or not, at least your repairs didn't require a full fab shop.

Wow I love the camera you use. Sure brings the red out in that car. She sure looks good back out on the road again. Glad I could save another one. Sure is a shame what some idiots will do to cars... Really gets me hyped up to work on mine again. Oh, I am my own fab shop :)

It took 16 months to get it where its at. Of course thats not working on it everyday of the week. It still has some body work that need to be done on both sides of the car. But hey it rolls and I couldn't be more happy to get her off my back. Now she just needs to learn how to drive a 5 speed. She has been practicing and doing decent but still needs a little work.

Just rode in it for the first time since we put it together... WOW I cant believe how smooth, straight, and easy riding that car is. Very well behaved. Definitely needs a bigger gear though. Still spins em over with ease!
