03 Ranger, 4cyl, 5spd, just under 172,000 miles, I am the original owner and put all those miles on it lol. Clean, good running truck. Would rather trade than sell. Need a vehicle with a backseat to put the little guy in. If this wasn't the case, I would drive this thing til the wheels fall off. Never thought I would get rid of it but really have to. Asking price is $3000 obo. I'm open to cash and trade offers. I can't post pics from the comp i'm using but can email or text message them to anyone interested. I do have this posted on CL, don't know if this will work either, but here's the link. http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/1881248812.html Any questions feel free to ask. Truck has never given me any problems and has been my dd since the day I bought it.

If you had a dad like mine growing up, everything you own would be spotless lol. Thanks tho, it's a good running truck and hate to see it go.

ttt...have a few decent trade offers. anyone know anything about the grand prix gtp's??? they look decent and are pretty quick is all i know. more concerned about how they hold up, tranny/motor wise.

I am getting one tommorow. It has 180,000 on it. The motor is a bulletproof design its been around for 20+ years. One of my friends has one with 225,000 miles, its got a intake, header, 3" downpipe, u bend cut out and straitpiped 180 degree t-stat and a v1.0 pcm with a 3.25" pully and runs 13.3 all day with it. All those mods ad up to about $750. I am going to do mine the same way I hope. But ya cant go wrong with one I dont think. The tranny is the weakest link but if you keep them flushed they are usually ok.

Yeh, I am not really a fan of automatics really but we have to get a car the the girl can drive...soooo...The GP looks really clean, owned by an older guy. I'm still taking offers and what not tho, I would hate to have to replace a trans right off the bat. V8Mustang pm'd ya

Got the GTP out it on a G-tech timer. I know they aren't that accurate but it said the car ran a 14.4. My turbo eclipse ran a 14.5 when I took it to the track and the grand prix feels much faster! I think with a pulley, exhaust and a intake she should break 13's. Pretty good for a DD. I say go for the GTP if you haven't yet plus I love the sound of a blower:lol:. O yeah even with the miles my tranny seems to shift good no slipping at all.

I've had a few different offers. Not really concerned about the speed factor in this one too much. The ol' lady drives like a maniac anyways, don't want to give her anything she can't control lol! I'm leaning more towards the reliability factor and something that is good to drive year round. I've only had one car that was an automatic, early 90's sunbird with the v6 and it was actually pretty quick. I'll figure something out, not really in a hurry. Thanks for your info!

Not to offend you but I see a base model truck with 172,000 miles on it. Does it even have power steering, power brakes, a/c?
You may want to consider that offer as that would be about as high as I would go. I have been looking at getting another ranger for shop use and I think you could probably have used that a negotiation rather than stamping it denied.

Power steering, power brakes. No a/c. Just kinda took that as a kick in the nuts. Sorry about that 50dan. That's a little lower than what I would let it go for. The truck has been maintained pretty darn good. I wouldn't be selling it if we didn't need a second vehicle with a backseat.

Not to offend either but thats how I saw it too. NO A/C sucks though. Man seems like these summers are getting hotter or I'm just getting older. Looks nice and clean though.

Guess no a.c has ever changed my mind about a good running vehicle. Maybe it's because I have always worked in the heat and the wind blowing feels 20 deg. better to me. Thanks for the offer tho, will keep you in mind but if it's not worth anything to anyone i'll keep it and put another 170,000 on it.

That is what I am doing with my ranger, I'll drive it til the frame rots off unless I find a frame cheap. Mine is a little out of the ordinary now however.

I thought only toyota frames rotted lol, had an 86 that went for just over 400,000. Just gonna have to pick up a few extra hours @ work an get something, or sell the F100...she might make me lol. I think just about any car/truck can go for a long time with the right maint. Please delete thread, thank you!
