Just did spark plugs on my '79 302 (carb obviously) and some of the wires failed so now I'm looking at doing those and I figure I might as well do the distributor as well. I know nothing about it so what would y'all recommend?

MSD's. I had Ford Racing wires and accel cap/rotor on my '94 5.0, and the wires didnt last 6 months before they started arching. Accel rotor disintigrated on me once. Wouldnt buy those parts again to save my life.
