I recently had a good sized tree cut down due to the fact that it was very close to my house. With the crazy storms we have been having lately, my wife and kids always freak out when the weather is bad wondering if the tree is going to come through the house.
I have cut all the limbs off and burned them in my ongoing brush pile leaving the tree laying across my front yard ready to be cut up and hauled off. I would say it would be a few if not more truckloads of wood. The guy that I had come cut it down (used a bucket truck to tie it off) said it was a cottonwood tree? I did some research and the tree does fit the description and is a hardwood.
I do not burn wood and have given many trees away that I have had cut down. I figured that I would post here and not craigslist now that I am a member on here. I would rather help out a fellow stangbanger than someone else.
