I bought that 89' GT off here and got it home a few nights ago. I went down to buy a hoist and ended up coming home with a hoist and a car
The car is surprisingly rust free for having sat outside for four years. Don't get me wrong, the body is by no means nice, but the lack of rust is quite surprising. I haven't got the car in the air yet, but so far there's a bout a nicel sized bubble on the driver side shock tower, under the booster.
This is what it looked like after rolling it off the trailer. It sat under a tree in the driveway and was/is filthy. I gave it a quick bath and ended up tossing a few things that were stuffed in the interior as well as the rear seats and carpet as everything pretty much smells disgusting on the inside.
I don't have the title for the car yet and not sure what the status is on that. I've been told that Jason is working on it and it sounds like it's as simple as him going to the KY BMV and getting a new one, but it's been hard getting a hold of him. Because of this, I'm not really sure what I want to do with the car right now. It really is too decent to part out.
The car was carbed at one point so the engine harness was laying inside the car. Several wires are frayed and one wire is completely cut so that is going to be another challenge. The computer is completely gone.
The fuel lines are also cut and Jason was telling me about the fuel tank that's in the car, but I can't remember all the details. It did have the stock tank inside the car, but it's pretty rusty and I'm not really sure if it's useable.
Here are a few pics I took along the way:

I've never owned a sunroof fox before so this is kinda cool I guess. The moldings are pretty much shot though and the hood flew up at one point and put two dents in the roof as well as dented in the cowl. Windshield was replaced though:

Few pics of what the interior was filled with when I got it:

All the crap removed and the pretty clean and rust free floor (and a FRPP alt underdrive pulley lol):
