351-+30 afr185 vic jr plummed for efi elbow 75mm tb dished pistons 9.5.1
55lb inj m1sc(like a p1sc) sct big air 2800 meter
this thing is running rich and i mean rich, fuel pressure was at 35 with vac attached, turned it down to 20 vac att. still rich air fuel meter pegged out far left(GREEN)
what i wont is to get it stable enuff to let it run at idle to check basic oper. ranges on all gauges and to check for leaks, headers and what not
is it possible to get a start up tune burned based on engine spec
or can i make some small adj. on certain engine components

You running a stock ford computer? If so...I'd just get it to some place that can tune it with a SCT chip...like Cincyspeed/Dayton Performance/MD. If you can't drive it there...tow it.

Hi
The way I understand things you need a tune so the sct maf knows what injectors etc. you are using!! When I put mine together I needed a tune.

Mine was never started untill I had the tune put in the SCT chip.I think I have the BA 3000 Meter and the standard SCT chip.I would take it over to CS and have the Man tune it there.

Yep, SCT meter needs a tune to work properly, will run like crap until you get the tune.

dont drive it.. see if you can get someone to burn you a base map into a chip, get it loaded up and take it to the dyno and get it tuned

Tune is a great idea...I understand the baseline lets everything run super rich to keep from burning up.

thanks ,ev1, ADAM did a nice job of calming it down some with a base line chip setup .she still RICH but now i understand maybe why.need to swap headers cause these hookers with the flange just wont stay sealed
