There is an 86 GT on Indy Craigslist that appears to be an awesome deal. The guy says its rust free and solid, bunch of stuff done already to include 17" wheels, lowered, subframe connectors, etc,etc. Needs a transmission.

I called the guy to ask about it as it seemed priced very low at 1300. He said he needed money badly and would take as little as 800 for it but no less. Sounds like an awesome deal for someone! I have too many plans for the one I've got now.

Just thought I would share the info. It would be worth 800 just to part it out. Check it out! Go to Indianapolis CL / 86mustang.

No, I dont know him. When I talked to him he said he was at work until 8pm but could be reached anytime with the cell number listed on CL.

Edit: Well guess I wasn't quick enough. Just talked to him again and he said you do have dibs, I'm assuming you're the guy(flaming87lx) coming at 8:30 tonight to look at it.

total POS, but I did buy it for $500.... floors are perfect, shock towers are shot, rust holes in rocker and LR quarter... interior is shit, wiring is jacked, total basket case.... but worth the $500 for parts.... If you guys would have drove drom cincy, you prob would have kicked his ass, ad was very misrepresenting....

yea i agree with that.....thats why i always send/show pics of all the bad areas of a car so people know what to expect

Whew, thank god lol. I even asked him if people had come out to look at the car before and he said yes, so that was a red flag for me that there was something wrong. But $500 is well worth it even if you just part it out. I didn't offer him anywhere near his asking price either lol.
