Fender rolling

Have a 93 lx and put a set of 274 40 17 mickeys on it. They rub bad.:mad:
Anyone here do any fender rolling or recommend anyone? Does it mess with the paint at all? Cost? Any input/advice/recommendations would be great. thank you

I think Cincy Speed and Modular Depot both have fender rollers....or you can do it yourself with a baseball bat, go slow and you wont harm the paint.

Get a hold of latamud on here ... He has a really nice one that I used, And it is easy and does a great job !!!

I believe he rents it REAL CHEAP !!! LOL

I'm assuming this is on the rear? What wheels? I had the same tires on the rear of my car and had plenty of clearance everywhere and the car was dropped on H&R super sports.

03 cobras, i had to use 1/4 spacers in the front so i put them on the rear. car has sportlines, upper and lower control arms. only rubs when i get on it, which is all the time:bigthumb

Wooden baseball bat and go slow as you roll the car...as already stated above.

Do it on a hot day 85+ hotter the better with the car out in the heat for a while, this will help prevent the paint from chipping. Some people use a heat gun but i don't advise it. I would use a roller not a bat if you care about the car some people can do it with out hurting the car but i wouldn't trust myself.

thanks for the advice/info. gonna pull of the spacers to see what happens. if that doesnt help, i will go the route of rolling the fender. just dont like the idea that there is a slight chance of the paint cracking/chipping. thanks again

This is an old thread but I just dug it up because I picked up a fox a few weeks ago and Im looking to get the rear fenders rolled. Im willing to pay somebody who has done a few and has the tool to do it right and knows what they are doing. PM me with a price. Hillbillys that want to use a baseball bat need not apply:lol:

I roll em with an Eastwood fender roller and a heat gun. I have done a ton of foxes and only messed up none. I am in the Dayton burbs and do em for 80 on the rears.

I "rented" Barts tool, and did my last fox. Took me about an hour to do them, that tool works great! I'm gonna see about "renting" it again for the short bus. I actually thought about calling him this past week when I was in town to pick it up and forgot lol...
