Ok i'm looking at a 94 Cobra which is selling for over blue book, so credit union is out of the question. I tried jj best and woodside for loans but the car isn't old enough to qualify through them. Anybody know of anywhere else? Let me know. Thanks for the help!!

Nope. The only way you'll make it happen is to put up enough cash to get the car down enough for the credit union. Because they will loan more than a bank

The kid that bought my 94 GT for 7500 got his loan through his credit union. He bought the car under a classic car loan. He had to provide them with a lot of pictures of the car but they approved it.

Hell maybe i'll check with the credit union. I mean if the guy got 7500 on gt, maybe i'll get a little more on a cobra

I have always had great luck and experience with General Electric Credit union. My last 3 auto loans have been through them.

Yeah he definitely got the full 7500 for it. Granted there was at least that in mods on the car but still. I received the check directly from his Credit Union. I had to fax them copies of the Title and Registration and they had me take pics of every angle of the car and the vin plate.

if your planning on paying it off early get a personal loan. interest rate will be higher but pay it off quick!

Believe it or not, my bank wouldnt do an auto loan for less than 5 grand. Weird, huh ?
Checked into the credit union, but ended up paying cash..

A credit union should I got my 02 that was over blue book and had neg. equity from the trade and still got a good rate of 5.25. Try Day Air Credit Union, they treat me very well.
