I put a breadbox upper on the car and it chopped off .3 and 5mph. Put the systemax back on so I prolly be in the 30's again. You spraying it on friday?

No spray yet!! Next month I will be spraying it for sure. I will be running N/A tomorrow night. Hoping for some good air to run some 11.30's. Not sure if that will happen or not.

Hope you all don't mind a high 12 car hanging out with you for a while. Was going to TS until I saw that there is a race that is $25 to get in. Just want to test the new clutch out and make a couple of passes to vent some frustration. Should be there around 6:00 or so.

Well that sucked...stuck in traffic for 3 hours just to find out a semi flipped right before the exit and the cop was making everyone turn around...said it would be at least 3 hour wait before they open it:(

Just got home from E20. Luckily my wife drove seperate in the Fusion I bought earlier today because the Mustang is still sitting at E20 with a destroyed T-5. My first pass, got outta the hole... hit second.. hit third and POW! Heard lots of grinding as I coasted off the track. I've never heard such a horrible sound! I get to go back tomorrow and trailer it home! Already got my father in laws F-250 and my brother in laws rock crawler trailer lined up. The weird thing is I wasnt even upset, I always keep in my mind that something can break. Good thing I bought the Fusion today because the Mustang was my daily driver!

i ran the maxima ... 14.56 beotches :lol: i was looking for slow stock mustangs to race ...

who hit the deer? ... it was the run in front of me ... silver stang with a stangbangerz sticker on back ... it trashed the windshield and side window ... big dent in the quarter ... the deer was small too ... smacked it on the big end past the traps ...

SO that s what the deal was with that stang. Saw it as I was leaving. I thought somebody had been vandalized.

It was the car RIGHT in front of me that hit it! I sat at the tree for about 5 minutes or so while they cleaned the mess up, got lucky!

Final two runs 12.664 @ 112, and 12.661 @ 113.7. Not bad IMO for first passes this season on street tires and granny shifting. Would have liked to seen 12.4's. It has it in it, but afraid to push too hard. Steve has the right idea coming down with a trailor. I'd run harder is I had a setup like that.

That was my old car that hit the deer, i sold it to my friend awhile back. He told me about it and i thought he was kidding. Looked at it today and its pretty bad off. Poor guy first time out at the track ever and that happens!

It's hard to go all out when you know damn good and well that if you break you are stuck until you find a ride home and get a trailer to get the car home. I played that game for 4 years and it sucks. I have broke 4 times since I started trailering the car. Last month I drive the car for the first time in 3 years and the last pass of the night I wiped out the gear. Was fortunate enough to have some friends down there with a trailer. I drove the one guys car home and he trailered my car for me.

Just got back from E20 with the Mustang on a trailer, would have been nice to have the truck and trailer with me last night (would have saved me 3 hours from going and getting it) Oh well, at least I was able to drive it up on the trailer (lots of grinding noise coming from tranny). I guess I am in the market for a T-5 (need suggestions on what to look for as far as getting a strong setup). Hopefully I can be back at the track as soon as possible and try it again. Anyone else on here have a good breakdown story from a track experience in the past?

Pretty decent night for me. Was working on dialing my car in to run the 10.0 index class at the indy nhra unleashed race. Track wasn't hooking well at all to start the night..but it came around. Ran a .17,.05,.07,.05 on a 100 shot. Need just a little more nitrous.

I was talking to the guy shortly before that and he said it was his first time to take it out. It had Silver Bullet on the back window also
