?? unnofficial Pony cruise - Any Interest??

A few of us are curious if there would be anyone interested in doing a pony trail cruise some time this summer. Would likely be August time frame and would be a Saturday starting between noon and one pm. The concept would be a drive down country roads(pre routed), a pit stop and face feeding some place, and a second leg that would end at an old Drive in or Root Beer Stand somewhere. It would be volunteer and drive at your own risk. No fees. Just a get together and cruise, then stop and eat, then cruise some more and finsh up at an icecream, rootbeer stand or other kind of drive in that may be hosting a cruise in on a Saturday after noon.

Ideas would be appreciated. I hope this poll thing works/ No idea yet what area the cruise would cover. Copies of the route would be provided so you could go at your own pace or stay with the pack.

Here is a destination I have come up with. Kunkel's Drive In located in Connersville, Indiana. It has been there since the 50's. Drive time about 1.5 hours from Cincy and 1.4 hours from Dayton, and 2.0 hours from Columbus. Check out the link. Any other ideas would be great. Try to keep the destination within 1.5-2.0 hours drive time two lane highway and back back roads as possible. Once the destination has been established then I will post a poll for defining a firm date based on highest polling.

Would be nice to have a group join us form Dayton as well. Please post up if you know of events or have destination ideas to an interesting place for sometime in late July through August.

Should have thought of that John. Sorry. There will be a poll for setting the date. High score will decide that date. Saturdays and Sundays will be included in the dates for consideration.
