Went to o charleys on 747 last night with my wife, son, parents and grandparents. Service was horrible, wait for our food was intolerable and when my salad arrived I discovered a bug in the caeser dressing. Spoke with the manager and server who were very appologetic. The server returned to the table and said it happens all the time cause their ac in the kitchen was out... WTF. Talk about a lack of customer service skills. Then she followed it up with "I'm so sorry about that but I'm sure you've seen worse." WTF!!! I replied with "I'm sure I have but don't remember when." I will never go their again as long as I live (tricounty location). My receipt had a survey.....
I hate the food too. Also ihop on tylersville is just as bad. Had to tell the server to get me my change back. She thought I was tipping her 12 bucks for SHITTY service.

You paid for that? Oh hell no.
You paid for that? Oh hell no.
No shit...... You paid the bill. That whole damn table would have been free and you should have been offered free food the next time you went there.
Not to make light of what happened but every restaurant you go to is bound to be nasty. If its not the place its self its going to be the staff. Those of us who worked in a restaurant know the things that can and do happen. My sister worked at a Fridays waaaay back when and my mom got a salad with a LIVE little frog in it. It made it through the slicer and everything. I guess the fact that it was a cute little frog and not a bug of some sorts made it better but it happens. Just the fact that years ago white castle was the cleanest place you could go should say something. Accidents happen and its not so much what happens but how its handled. Yours was handled wrong.

I had to pay for my booze. I didn't see any floaters in them:cool2:
I am married, related by blood, and related by marriage to a few restaurant industry proffessionals and I know for a fact not all places are like that. I travel extensively and eat out for more than 70% of my meals and I have seen some nasty stuff, but nothing like that before. The combination of the whole incident still amazes me.
