Just wanted to thank Brandon for squeezing me in on short notice!

Did a great job on the gears, not a peep out of them!!!

Also hooked me up with some welded axle tubes!!!!

I'll second that. I have had work done on both my daily drivers there. Excellent work, fair prices and nice people to deal with.

Did you really weld the axle tubes on your 2011 automatic GT? *shakes head*

why not, the axles are out? Whats wrong with with being preventative?

the goal is 1.5 to 1.4 60's eventually

I don't know. Just makes less sense than a funny car cage to me

I see what you're saying, but Adam spun the tube out of his 03 GT only running 12's. lol. If it's gonna fail, it's not gonna take a lot of hp to do it, lol.

I've had 130 mustangs and have never had this happen. And I'm pretty sure I run mine harder than the average joe

well, i bent an axle in the gt500, i bent 2 axles in the 04 cobra last year

the 10 gt i guarantee you had just a slightly bent axle on the pass side,

i don't know whats harder than launching a car at 5500 rpms and dumping the clutch?

the auto should be softer, but why not spend the hour of labor while it's apart??

thats like saying, i've never had a driveshaft bust, so lets forget about a safety loop

You bent like 6 axles? Lmao sounds to me like you need to quit sliding them into curbs. Lol

not to sound stupid but how do you know if you bend a axle? I have never experienced this.

Glad to see your happy with the work Terry ;)

Now as far as the welding of the axle tubes. It is cheap insurance to prevent any issues down the road. While the auto will be a little more forgiving they still bend and break stuff when trying to get a 3500 lb car going. I recommend anyone that plans on a decent amount of time at the dragstrip to get them done.

I had my tubes welded on my 8.8 by Rob... def. cheap insurance... and heck I expect my car to only do like 13's if that when its done! Atleast I'll have room to grow engine-wise with a chassis/suspension that will handle it. I agree with getting one straightened and welded for sure. Especially after Rob showed me how FAR out of whack my axle was...

Good thing every thing you have is under warranty.

never replace with warranty stuff if it's something i broke.

i replaced the gt and gt500 axles myself

the 04 cobra i put a whole setup in at cincy speed

as far as knowing mainly as soon as you start to touch your brakes you get what sounds like a break squeak sound. it's because it is wobbling back and forth.

and like brandon said, these newer cars are heavier!

had them do my gears with some issues but it was handled magnificently. and in the end it wasn't their fault. now I am going to have cams/deletes installed by them. they are the real deal-honest and fair!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
