Bump steer help

I'm on my last thing to install and as luck would have it i'm having trouble. My problem is the sleeve is long and is impossible to thread to where the former tie rod was. Is there something i'm missing? I began to turn the inner tie rod hoping this would bring it in but nothing seems to be working. Any help would be greatfull

Update: i called Comp engineering today about the issue i was having with the tie rod sleeves being too long. He said i would have to thread it down about a half an inch (which is what i need) and that would correct the problem. He also said that they were aware of the problem and when suggested they make a notation or thread the item he said that would not be done. I'm so flippin pissed had i known that i would have done it a while ago. My advice: don't buy their shitty pain in the ass bump steer kit.
