You sir take some nice photos. I am assuming you use Canon equipment like most pros? What do you use for the pics at the track?

Most of my shooting is with the Nikon D300. I still shoot with the D100 as well. I had been a Canon guy unti I went digital, I just didn't like the "feel" of the Canons. I also think the Nikon optics is superior over the Canon (although one of my favorite lenses is actually a Sigma)

Wow, I would have never guessed that. I too am a Nikon guy but higher end Nikon lenses are far more expensive than an equivalent Canon lens unfortunately. But I agree with you 100%, Nikons feel much better in your hand, and to me are much easier to use. I have the D200. Are you shooting like a Sigma 120-300 or 70-200? I will soon be getting myself a Sigma lens for action photography.

I shoot several lens....the Sigma I have is the 120-300 2.8 The rest are all Nikon glass. To be honest, save your money and buy the best lens you can afford. You can also rent lenses to see how they perform for you before you buy. And of course, for the best results, practice, practice, practice.

Looking good Dave! I was only down for a short time trying some off camera flash and my shirt was soaked. I could not have imagined what it must have been like being there all day! BTW I am digging that Sigmas bokeh!

You keep shooting that lens and you will have to wear a sleeve-less shirt by the end of the season!
