Craig and hardcore, this very reason is why I'm trying to get my CRX out. I can nail the tree but never did .500 tree. On a .400 tree at Tristate, I was .103 late with old car. Now being I haven't raced in 5 years, I'm rusty and this old man might be late on the tree.


Then again my goal has been to run 13.9-14.xx on the dial to get the Neons knocked out of the UMTR races....or have enough to make a FWD/Import class.+

I've dropped 15 pounds from wrenching in this swamp like weather.

I have a 24" "dyno fan" to move air....only to find condensation under the car as humidity was insane.

His name is actually Tommy Haidinger or something like that. He hates 1/4 mile racing and was always trying to convince me to kill the 1/4 mile footbrake class at Thornhill. He was mad when it didn't get killed. My reply has always been the same, that my personal preference doesn't matter... but the 1/4 Mile Footbrake class brings in the most cars.

Heh.... cute but, why is it that one racer is more important than the other? Who cares if you're racing for money or for fun. Fact is, Bracket 3 brings in more cars, thus more family and friends, and more money. Running Bracket 3 is a business no brainer, which is why I'm sure Jerry will kill the class. You can argue why guys shouldn't run 1/4 mile, but they still do. I've said this a million times. I don't have a car to race, so it never personally mattered to me. But, I can count... and Bracket 3 pulls more cars.

So, your challenge is to bracket race these guys in your Saturn? That would be the most boring grudge race ever... I'm sure spectators will flock to see it. I'm sure Jerry will get that right on the schedule.

At any rate, I'd like to see him get his ass busted. He says his car runs dead on and he cuts 00 lights, but in bracket racing that means he'd be winning.... even with a 19 second car. He's never been to the quarter finals in a 20 car field this year at TH... so I can't imagine he's that impressive.
