thats great....Rich Franklin is an older fighter but still one of the best.

I was with Metcalf Racing down in Mason for a Birthday party and Rich Franklin came in and ate at the booth behind us. Well the waiter about fell over when he came to thier table. We all though it was hillarious. None of us got the nerve to get a autograph in fear of getting beat up. LOL.

It's cool to know and see someone from this area on TV fighting and winning. It's a small world for sure!.

Great win for Franklin no doubt. The bad thing is that he is not competitive in 185 or 205. As long as Anderson and Sonnen are in the middleweight division, Franklin will stay in light heavyweight. But at 205 there is still no where for him to go as Shogun, Anderson, Machita, Jones and Rashad have it locked up.

Anyhow, it was a great event.

The ref's are provided by the state athletic comission. You cant fire them. Yves Lavine is reguarded as the worst ref in mma by many.
