I seen this article about what caused the explosion on the oil rig. If this is the true it is not a good thing.

A good argument for requiring voters to pass an intelligence test.

pure BS.

I do know that 33 rigs are being pulled out of the area since there is a hold on new drilling.

A small forum I'm on, one member is an oil engineer, get all the juicy inside info.

I believe a lot of them will be going to somewhere off the coast of Africa where having their own little oil boom. So more Americans loosing their jobs and more dependence on foreign oil.

Chavez is getting some of them.

Thing is there has been NO DROP inUS production from the Gulf because of the BP mishap.

from Tom.......

The problem is seawater getting into the oil and gas column heading to the surface. The cold temp of the water cause the gas to become gas hydrate crystals, which clogs up the pipe.

If it is just gas and oil, it'll go straight to the processing boat, they'll flare off the gas, tank the oil to shore, the refinery will turn it into Z06 go fast juice. Profit.

But there is no new production and the existing wells won't produce forever.

Judging by the fact the North Korean's can't get a rocket off a launch pad without it exploding then I highly doubt they could get a rickety ass sub halfway around the world without us knowing about it or it sinking.

It was South Korea that had the failed launch.........

I posted that comment BEFORE the South Korean missile explosion was reported. So no, your wrong. I was and am still referring to North Korea. If you google "North Korean missile explodes on launch pad" I'm pretty sure you will find many examples. Maybe, in regards to South Korea's problems today, it's a Korean thing that they can't build rockets that don't explode or they are confusing rockets with fireworks. Don't know. Thanks for your help though Almighty Esteemed Fact Checker. :bigthumb
