I've been thinking about getting a mountain bike. I have a Trek 2.1 road bike that I ride pretty regularly. Does anyone else do any road riding?
Also, Caesar Creek Lake has some mountain bike trails. My brother in law used to ride them a lot when he was growing up.

I grew up on a 20 inch riding street and dirt but i've been wanting a nice trail bike for a long time, i just won't settle on a cheap walmart bike and i don't have the cash for a nice one. If i wasn't into cars i would be crazy into bikes.

I rode for about 2 hours today. It was too damn humid, I was covered with sweat. Blah
Trails were pretty wet too. I guess it rained out that way recently.

Oh you mean this Trek bike on Craigslist?
The one being sold by Brian Graham? The same Brian Graham as EXCOPCAR or NWOVETTE.

Who here knows how to adjust derailers really good? I just bought a return bike from Walmart. It's a Schwinn (Pacific Cycles) Aluminum Comp 21 speed. The reviews look great for it for the price...someone even said they would compare it to a higher end Trek except for the derailers. Mine doesn't shift too great and seems to jump the chain a lot...i grew up on a single speed 20 inch so i don't know a lot about them...i could tinker with it and get it dialed in but if there's an experienced person here who can get it done easy that'd be great.

You need to stay on a pedal bike. We all know you cant drive. You cant stay away from parked cars, in your own driveway...:lol::lol:  :punch:

LOL i ate my words on this one. It's tough to pass up a $220 bike for $40 plus 10% discount off that

Yeah i talked to them today..they said $10 an item...so 10 per derailer. They wanted to keep it for 3 days though and i wanted to ride it today. It rides fine as long as you don't fly through the gears but i am gonna get it tuned up.

thats not bad. except for the three days part. looks like you live close. let me know if you want to do some riding. i hit the local stuff a few times a week.
