Ever since I put put braided fuel line on my car, gas vapor comes thru the line making my garage smell. What hose are you guys running? Got to get the wife off my back!

That seems to be a normal complaint not sure what you can really do to fix it. I guess you could switch to e85, it smells better.

I think if you have the teflon lined hose it stops the smell more so then just rubber braided. Maybe install a fan to pull the smell threw the ceiling lol

Yep..very common complaint about the regular rubber braided steel hose. Only fix I know of is to use teflon lined braided steel hose. I got some hose and fittings from parker. I know they have stores around the area...I went to the one in florence. I never smell a thing in my garage..even using e85.

Here is the hose I used

I went with aeroquip push lock stuff. It is supposed to not have a smell. We will see in a few weeks.

Thanks for the replies guys. The wife dragged me thru the mud about it again last night. Going with the Parker PTFE hose and Aeroquip fittings.

Wooooooooo! the ptfe hose works like a charm. Great price also from cincy hose and fitting on kemper.
