Well it's time for the mrs. to have the baby. She went to the doctors today. They decided it's time for him to come out. Were down at christ hospital chilling and ready for a long night. They have checked her ou and all is good. She's not dialated "sp" yet so they are going to give her some meds to help along. They say the first set of meds takes twelve hours. Hopefully it doesn't take as long. We will see.

Not yet. She had some meds for 12 hours to start the dialating. She's up to almost 2 cm. She's having some contractions now. Nurse thinks it will happen this evening. I'll keep everyone informed.

No baby yet. 9 cm. Its all going good thought. They are treating us great at the hospital. Super good staff. Should be to much longer and she can start pushing. Could still take a few hours after that.

WELL??????????????? Is it soup yet?? Do we have a baby? What's the word? I'm sitting here in a hotel room bored out of my skull in Elkhart IN and waiting to hear the magic phrase. Carson Xavier joined us today at 743. He weighs 6 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 3/4 inches. It wasn't a easy birth. He come out with a full head of hair. I will post a pic when I get on a computer.

Fan Freaking tastic DAN!!!! You put the stem on the apple!!!! Of course mom did the next nine plus months of work and the labor of gettinghim into theis world. Congratulations to both of you. I hope mom and baby are doing well after the tough time. Better be preparedto bring that kid to the next cruise in and bring momma as well. !!!!! Happy for both of you!!!!! Thanks everyone. I think the shock is starting to set in for me. All I can say is wow. I just gave him his first bottle. He ate half a ounce and then fell asleep while I was trying to burp him. He had a long two and half hours of fighting to get into the world.
