Beechmont Ford Car Show, Sunday, May 23, 11-3

On Sun May 23, we will be hosting an open car show at Beechmont Ford. There will be hot dogs, drinks, and chips. Top 20 trophies.

Asking a $5 donation for local veteran families.

Went last year before I was a QCM club member and it was a great turnout w/great door prizes and trophies!

Based on the website it's Sunday the 23rd. I have tickets to the Alan Jackson concert that night in Lexington so I may be able to come out for a few hours.

Sorry, the car will be @ Cincy awaiting clutch and flywheel. Was sippose to be done week of 5/10, but I got tied up and didn't get it there until late, so I had to bump it so it could make it to the SBZ cruisein. Tell Lorrin I said hi! LOL!!!

Pretty sure that this is an annual event there. Went to it last year and there were somewhere around 75-100 cars I think. Would be going this year BUT car will be at CINCY.

My 'Stang is at Plated and Cougar is at Dirty Dog's. I have my '09 black F-150 that's all cleaned up though. We'll see how Laurie is feeling with her foot. She has to be to off her feet for the most part. I am sure there will be a place to park her where she can sit with her foot propped up. We are going to try and make it..

This show was a really nice turnout and thank you for spreading the word. I unfortunately had to leave at 2 so I could make it to Lexington on time but I had a great time. Here are 2 pics I got of your car and your significant others car (I think lol). You have a list of who won top 20?

Offhand, I'm not sure of the 20 who got trophies. It was strictly people's choice for trophies, so when people registered they got a sheet to number their top cars and that's how the winners were determined.

Was yours the blk vert w/lightning paint job?

Yep that was my ride. Here are the pics again, I moved them sorry. Lighting angle was bad and i had a fixed 50mm lens with me, then the camera died right after that pic lol, oh well.

Your stang was sweet though.... and I didnt know you were on the board. You should definitely take the cobra to some shows, you'd take home some trophies. For some reason I think I have seen it before.

Thanks for the kind words, I plan on doing a few more things to it to make it stand out a bit more at shows. Plan on hand polishing the catback exhaust, and powdercoating some pieces under the hood, and a speedster cover. Its a fun car and I hope to make a show every other week or so, there are a lot of great people I meet everytime I go to one.

Cool, well I'm sure we'll see ya around. We go to most of the local shows and usually go to 1 or 2 a weekend. It's fun, just hard because we have 2. If we only had 1 stang, it would be a badass one ;) it's just rough having 2x's everything to buy... but I think I am done for a lil while, might try to do some stuff next summer after our wedding and house is done, when I find a new job and when we aren't so broke.
