Drag racing accident shuts down southbound I-75

Southbound Interstate 75 is shut down near the 38 mile marker in Warren County after an accident that was reported at 8:13 p.m., Friday, April 30.

Multiple cars were involved in the accident, which was reportedly caused by drag racing, according to a dispatcher at the Lebanon post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

It was unknown how people were injured in the accident.

Troopers are on the scene investigating.

Good catch, I could see where the typical person with their prius hybrid would read that and say "so the people from the Drag Strip were DRAG RACING on the street!, someone needs to do something about this, or close down the drag ways so there will be no more accidents." Now when someone says drag racing, the first picture in their head will be someone STREET RACING, and not being at a track.

Well put young SBZ. Speaking of hippies in hybrids as you describe, I was almost T-boned in a parking lot in Ft. Wayne, IN the other night by some loon in one of those little box looking two seater German made "Smart cars." Would have been like a bug hitting my windshield. She was more scared than I was by a power of 7. I could tell by her facial expression as she came flyin through the parking lot and whipped around the corner steering right into the side of my car before she slammed on her brakes that first she said it, then she did it!!
