okay, with the wot box on my car, you can integrate a shift light, but not a big one.

using a 9 pin comport you can take the end of the #6 and #2 pin and wire them to an led and set the time.

kenny helped me get it all together and mounting it in a little hole we drilled on the top half of the steering column. shined in my face perfect, it has to be pointed at you or it's not really bright enough.

problem is if the wheel turns at all, it blocks it, and with steering down the track thats going to happen.

so, i need to get some kind of a flexible but not too flexible material that I can run the wire through so i can take it out of the top of the column and point it where i want, but won't move when launching or driving.

any ideas?

Something like small aluminum fuel line or brake line so you line up where you need it, Or put it inside a vent in the dash.

and where would I find said flashlight? I believe it needs to be around the 3.6 to 3.7 volt range

why not just some flexable conduit? I think you can get different diameters, once you get the same you want just paint it or coat it.......
