What ever happened to all of the videos from the cruises for the soldiers? I can't find them on youtube anywhere. For that matter what ever happened to the cruise itself?:confused:

When fuel prices went to $4.00 plus a gallon a couple of years ago, it was pretty hard to get people to come out to go for a 100 mile drive, especially in cars that weren't exactly fuel efficient.

I was just thinking about those cruises....it was a great cause. Maybe we should see if there is interest again??

It was a Cincy Speed sponsored event and the last one we went on only had 40-50 cars and half of those were ones that were from Dayton and only met us up at WPAFB.

If you're still interested in doing this, the NKYFBA is having a cruise up to WPAFB in support of the Yellow Ribbon group for the troops overseas. It wll be in Sept and if there is enough interest here I'll post it up as anybody is welcome to join in :bigthumb

Talked to the people at the Yellow Ribbon Support Center and they are on board. Now looking for a place to start from that will hold all the cars
