2010 mustang 4.0 v6 vs supercharged buick.

I WAS IN A 2010 MUSTANG 4.0 V6 5-SPEED YESTERDAY AND I WAS GASING HER UP AND A DUDE AT THE GAS STATION WAS GASING UP HIS 1995 OR 96 BUICK REGAL 4 DOOR 3.8 SUPERCHARGED AND SAID HIS CAR WOULD EAT THE MUSTANG I WAS DRIVING I JUST LAUGHED MY AZZ OFF.IT WOULD OF BEEN A GOOD RACE BUT I WOULD OF BUSTED HIS AZZ REAL BAD OUT OF THE HOLE AND MAYBE TOP END.THAT 4.0 HAD BALLZ. IT WOULD CHIRP THIRD GEAR,, NOT BAD FOR A 4.0! HE HAD SOME STUFF DONE TO HIS HE SHOWED ME, LIKE A SMALLER PULLY FOR THE SUPERCHARGER AND A NICE AIR BREATHER SET UP AND SOME OTHER JUNK DONE TO IT.PLUS HE HAD A BABY BOY IN HIS BACK SEAT AND IM NOT PLAYING WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS A CHILD IN THE CAR.WANT TO PLAY LET'S HIT THE TRACK:bigthumb THATS WHAT IT'S FOR.

But i agree with the consensus, the supercharged 3.8 would have pulled away from you.... .2 cubes over boost no chance..

Another beef is horsepower, cant tell you how many times i heard a guy say his SBC 350 is pushing 700 HP. Got a dyno sheet? lol.. shuts em up everytime..

As much as I hate to admit it (I am a Ford loyalist), this guy appears to be suffering from Delusions of Grandeur. The 2003 Buick Regal GS is rated 240HP/280T from the factory. The 2010 Mustang is rated 210HP/240T stock. So stock vs stock the Mustang is in the hole 30HP to begin with (not accounting for weight differential which may favor the Mustang slightly). If by chance the Buick in question is the GSX edition now you are talking 270HP/312T stock. Factor in the smaller pulley mentioned for higher boost and "other mods" and weight is no longer a factor whatsoever. Your only recourse would be to Super charge your 4.0 L, or trade your 2010 in for a 2011 V6 which is supposed to make 315HP, and then mod it mildly. Sorry man, but the numbers don't add up. Talk to KYGTP about the potential of that 3.8L SC engine configuration. His GTP Grandprix had the same base setup as the Buick Regal GS before he modded it to go 11.97. He can tell you all about it.

pitbull1052 shes all stock and red in color t tops but paints faded which is no big deal but i can bring her back to life.IM felling down the road 347 turbo that has been my dream forever.Wish me luck lol.
