I'm building a 4.6 and it has npi heads... I'm having them ported but would it be better to swap the pi heads on and have them ported? Or just port the npi heads?

I would do the PI heads unless you are out to prove a point. It is just not worth the time and money to mess with the NPI's, plus the PI's will bump the compression up quite a bit too, so you are getting more for the money.

exactly what Matt said. I had a set of NPI ported heads before from a local guy. Performed worse then a set of PI swapped over. This guy does great work with PI heads. http://modularheadshop.com/

Yeah, Nick is a great guy to deal with. I haven't bought any heads from him, but I bought some other parts and he had them to me pronto! If you want some ported NPIs, check here (http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=127197)
