Okay I know this is a Mustang site but I just had to express my opinion on this car.
IT IS BAD ASS!
Our lease is almost up on our Grand Caravan, so we are needing to replace it. We went to Dave Dennis Dodge today to look at the new vans...which with a 4.0 are peppy for a mini van. We also wanted to look at the Journey R/T. Well it took all of 3 minutes to realize the Journey was not going to work out. So next we drove the new Grand Caravan. Many improvements over our 2007 especially in the drivetrain.
Then I drove a plum crazy purple Challenger R/T 6spd. The car had some retro Craiger looking 20" wheels and the white R/T stripes down the side. That car was just bad ass. Smooth and nice handling....for a tank of a muscle car. Nice looks and very comfortable...but not practical with 4 little ones. Of course then I start thinking I could sell off one of the Stangs and buy a used mini van.
Before I left I drove the Charger R/T with the Road and Track pack. Another great car, but being an auto not as much fun as the Challenger.
Now I would love to go out and buy a new 2011 5.0, but I need at least three seatbelts in the back so that at least the wife or I can haul them all when needed.
But no worries tomorrow I am meeting with Terry (Beefcake) to see what deal we might be able to put together on a Ford Flex. We have test drove a regular Flex but I am curious to how one with the Eco Boost will run. So we shall see tomorrow morning.
