Im glad you can't hit those #'s....lol I can...lol The Engine was dynoed at 725 before the head porting and before going with a different cam. I dont have the paper work so im not gonna claim it untill i have it on the rollers. Just what im shooting for.

What compression ya running Metcalf....Im gonna be running Q16 if that gives ya an idea.. Just an ol 351 spinning around 9k :bigthumb

Ford Motorsport (SVO) Yates heads are designed for a max effort racing engine. There are currently 3 different style castings for a Yates head:



The C3,C3L and C35 are Conventional YATES cylinder heads with standard castings. These heads are usually low compression when new and come from the factory with 67 cc chambers. They were designed for “all out racing” including Drag, Circle Track and Sprint Car applications. Utilizes shaft mounted rocker system but you have to be sure which one you need (one piece mount or multiple ).Typically came with Titanium 1.60” exhaust and 2.1” Intake valves. They have added water passages between combustion chambers and utilize AGS series spark plugs.



The C3H “High-Port” is similar to the standard C3 casting but has raised intake runners with a straight in intake bolt pattern (bolt holes are perpendicular to the head). Fits 302 and 351 SVO Ford blocks and come new with 40 cc combustion chambers. They were designed for “all out racing” including Drag, Circle Track and Sprint Car applications. Typically came with Titanium 1.60” x 5.26” exhaust and 2.1” x 5.45” Intake valves. This head uses the same shaft mount rocker system as the C3L but longer pushrods. Exhaust ports are the same as the C3L and utilize AGS series spark plugs.



The SC1 is a "all new" Yates casting with raised intake and exhaust runners ( ,40” over the C3L heads). Which creates better airflow and greater horsepower. Fits 302 and 351 SVO Ford Racing Blocks. This head also incorporates extra material for higher flowing port designs. Intake valves go up to 2.180” x 5.685” and exhaust go up to 1.625” x 5.565”. Uses M-9424-W352 Intake manifold and AGS series spark plugs.



Most all are machined for shaft mounted rocker assemblies (Jesel or T & D) but some use 1 piece stands and some use multiple piece stands.

What kills me is that this combo is proven to be what i am claiming, minus mechanical inj and a small amount of compression. Metcalf wants me to explain to him in lamen terms what I have already posted links to explain...Thats just not gonna happen!!

As for pics of the build. I will have some pics of the build soon. I still need to polish the 8 throttle body tubes and some other stuff before you guys see the intake. The car still needs to be gutted for a cage....etc, it is a work in progress.

I have already said if it doesnt make the hp, I will still post the papers. As for saying heads dont account for big hp...............Then why the eff does every top fuel run a hemi????

He had the info posted up on here for them. If you check it out, they have some complete motors with build specs and some go up in the range of 800hp. Not something you would usually see on the street and have VERY steep price tags!! I think Gouldstang on here has one in his dirt car with close to 700hp.

I have the video somewhere of it... It went 10.68 at 141 I beleive. It never went over 7lbs of boost and he shifted at 5500. Pretty much looked like he was on a Sunday drive. It came out real easy so I dont know... I plan on running the shit out of it so we'll see what it really has in it!
