make sure you stick with a radial bud. since your mainly street duty. The Toyos have always done me good.

I'm running a 26/11.5/15 hoosier quick time pro. They hook hard as hell at the track, but the car dont come out if it even looks like it will rain. But they are D.O.T approved for the street so there is no issues with the law.

You don't want to run something liek that if you get stuck driving in the rain you are screwed. I don't know what sizes are available however I run the general UHP grabber tires on my truck and my car. The truck is 15 so I had to settle for a 215, the car is 16's so I went to a 255/55/16 which is the best performing street tire I have ever used. Rain, snow or shine they never dissapoint.

Why do you think 315's are too wide? Ive ran them on two cars and they did great. They fit perfectly on the new edge cars too.

the sumitomos are not that bad for the price. if you go a little smaller you can save a couple of bucks. the little smaller width will make for a better contact patch. only bad thing is the small sidewall 18s are expensive

Do you run that wide on an 18 inch wheel?

315 would be great to have.. but not on an 18in wheel thats huge and would be too much work to make it fit than it would be worth. plus the price would be crazy. but that would be cool for a 15inch wheel

and.. im pretty sure my rims wont be wide enough for a 315

How am i gonna make him crash into a wall, did you read my first post in this thread? I said the car dont come out if it even looks like it will rain. I mean they are good tires if you only want to drive the car on nice days. If you want to drive in the rain do not buy the tires i am running.:bigthumb

My MT DR's did fine in the rain, and they made my car bog they hooked so damn good. Ran one set on my DD notchback for an entire season once and still had tread left.

Doesnt take any work to make them fit. A 315 on a 17 and a 315 on a 18 are the same width. Ive had them on two sn95's with no problems at all, yes they were 17's but they are the same width. Many ppl have ran them on the 18's. Go search around on corral. Do you have 18x10's on the rear? If so theyll fit.

I have 18x10's with 305's and had to roll my fenders due to being lowered. Now I have an IRS rear and the wheels are pulled in just a hair so I'm thinking I could go wider but I'm not sure.

I had the 315's on both of my sn's and NEVER had any problems with them rubbing on the fenders. My 94 Coupe was really low too.

I wish they made the 555's bigger than a 295 in an 18 but they don't unless you want the 555r's and I'm tired of a drag radial.

yeah. i wasn't sure about the regular 555s. i have Rs on the back of my lightning in 305s, but you don't want a DR so nevermind lol
