View Full Version : WTB: Aluminum Thermostat Housing

Anyone have an aluminum thermostat housing for sale, for an 85 mustang gt? I've looked through Late model restoration,Jegs,Summit and American Muscle. All I can find are the chrome housings and I was told they leak too easily...so I'm on the hunt for an aluminum housing :bigthumb

Or can someone point me in the right direction where I can find one?

Was trying to avoid having to buy new, the polished new housings are expensive....if it's used and in good shape I'm not against that either, Was looking at the swivel housings but was told to stay away from them...not sure why. But trying to find a poilshed aluminum thermostat housing for an 85 mustang has been difficult to find. The ones I keep running into are the stock replacements which is what I'm not looking for.
