Need your help... Looking to build a 5.4 Cobra Jet Super Stocker

Hello All,
Playing with the idea of building a new Cobra Jet Super Stock car. The main issue I don't know about is building the engine. Does anybody know where I can cross referance casting numbers from say Navi motors and Shelby motors?

Does anybody know if the Navi motors are 6 bolt mains?

I've never turned a wrench on a mod motor but I really want to think this out and see just what it would take to build this car. So any help will be appriecated.

Sounds cool Kris, I had never touch a mod motor myself untill I did mine. It wasnt that bad, I bought a nice book from Sean Hyland that had alot of info and good pictures. I dont know about casting numbers but I bet you'll be able to find the info.

All of the parts for a SCJ are available from the dealer or they are supposed to be .

2 bolt and 2 side screws dail pins 5.4 truck and navi cast blocks

Any of the 5.4 blocks will hold up to that kinda n/a power, but the aluminum 5.4 block is what ya need as it's much lighter.
