market got tight, whoring everything out for pennies on the dollar. wasn't worth the stress anymore, couldn't make enough $$

after 15 years i was a little burned out too.

still get good deals on beverly, scifit, and some others if i need stuff

smaller meals more often, 5-6k per day, and some type of thermogenic, xendadrine, hydroxycut, etc...

I've been doing the smaller meals more often but just doesnt seem to do much.... I think I'll try one of those though

it takes about 2-3 months for your metabolism to really kickstart

i was in the nutrition field since 1990 to like 2004 til i got into selling cars.

I always bounced and bartended on the side, waited tables, worked pizza places, quick marts. Whatever to make a buck!

stay away from simple sugars ... try the south beach diet, you will be amazed! ... with good weather coming, try to exercise ... if you hate running, walking or etc ~ play basketball, tennis or softball ... just be active ... theres no "magic" pill ...

you are what you eat ...

you nailed it man... that's so true... I don't like to run but biking I can do... and playing basketball is also something that I get a good workout from...

I don't know if any of you have tried participating in 5k runs but that's something that I found out that pushes you to be better... You don't have to be the fastest but just to get out there and try it is something pretty cool in itself.... Last year, I totally slacked off but this year, I really hope to be in the best physical shape in my life.... I don't plan on lifting weights and that will hold me back in the end but I really don't want to bulk up or anything like that, just get leaner...

People don't realize what gaining weight does to you... but it's a pretty vicious cycle... and the way healthcare in this country is headed, I look to see that if you are overweight, you will pay more for your coverage... There are many things in our lives that we can't control, but one thing we each control is what we eat... and sadly, the more overweight one is, the more likely you are to have diabetes, high blood pressure, etc...

So what's this south beach diet you are talking about?

i have the south beach diet book, you can have it ... i will track it down and bring it to E20 ...

you pretty much have to eliminate simple sugars from your diet ... after you've lost some weight, you can incorporate them back in your diet, sparingly ... it works like a charm, but you need some will power ...

if you can drop a quick 20lbs, that 11.80 will be a 11.78 :lol: :bigthumb ... see thats motivation right there ...

i know ... i graduated at 150 and went to 225 within 4 years :lol: i was hanging with mcgwire, bonds and sosa ...
