Preload?

I changed the cam on my explorer motor and Now I need to preload the lifters? Never done this before, do you just do one at a time? And to preload it do you just have the valve all the way open and torque it to spec? Thanks in advance for the help:bigthumb

What engine,Stock valve train? What kind of valve train you running.

Go to corral.net and search "valve adjustment" way easier and less work than someone typing it all out. Its very easy though.

Its a 302 out of an explorer. It has stock valvetrain. Witn the hydraulic lifters.

Hope you upgraded the valve springs on the heads (gt40/p) if your running more than the stock explorer cam.
