whats a good clay bar to use and then what should come next. wax or polish. i want a mirror shine for the crusie in!

I agree they are the same. i have used on customer cars a clay bar with mist n shine as a lube. then wizards supreme shine then shine master by wizards. very expensive but works well. on my own stuff i just use a good caranuba paste wax. it looks just as good to the eye but might not protect it as well. it seems like once the wizards products get wet the car looses its slick feeling.

I always used to use a 3m claybar with Mcguire's showroom shine instead of water because the showroom shine has some wax in it, but is watery. Then use 3m paste carnuba wax its a pain in the ass to get off but that thing will shine like it should be on the showroom floor. I detailed cars for like 5 years thats the best combo I have found. I agree they all serve the same function and all work equally as well but I have bought 4 or 5 different types and some are easier to work with then others. I liked the one I got from Clay Magic the best. It was softer and easier to work with than others.

No matter what you do make sure you buy some De-swirl too. Red is one of the worst colors when it comes to swirls being VERY noticeable. Honestly Id invest in a Porter Cable Polisher. Anyone can run one and you really dont have to worry about burning up your paint with it like you do a high speed buffer. They make a wide variety of pads for them too. Ive had mine for years now and it was one of the best purchases I have made.
