imy trying to put my motor back together, and i have different sized pushrods. And the Valve hieght is higher on the intake side. dumb mistakes i didnt pay attention when i took it off. and also there is a 8 shims that go under the pedistole but im at a loss to figure out what push rod goes on the intake or exhaust and what side the shim will need to go under, intake or exhaust.

So you know the valve height is higher on the intake side for sure? I would think then that the longer pushrod and shim would go on the intake side. I'd install the rockers on 1 cylinder..then check the pattern on the valve tip.
