In the Hunt for something to replace our Saturn Ion Quad Coupe, we have 1 year left on the lease. I'm probably going to test drive an Escape today and possibly an F150. The Grand Prix would get traded in. anyone think anything else is test drive worthy from Ford or any other auto maker? It will be the wife's car and we would probably lease again as she puts 2 miles a day on the car :)

I test drove one AWD but ended up getting a FWD with more options :D

Well all I drove from Ford today was the 2010 Escape, it was really nice. It was the XLT model loaded with everything but leather for around 25K. (Mike Castrucci Ford)

I went over to the Chevy dealer and drove a 2010 2LT V6 Camaro for shits and giggles.. I was really impressed the car had some power to it. The Sales guy had it up to 100 :D oh and also drove a 2.0 T Genesis it was ok, I think I'd have to go for the V6 in that.

I think the Fusion AWD is out of my price range.

If you are willing to look outside of Ford, there is Subaru. The Impreza starts at 18K with the WRX starting at 25K.

Well I am 37 and the wife is 35 and we have perfect driving records... So through progressive we have full coverage 500 ded on the mariner, liability on the 4x4 truck and liability on the miata. all with uninsured motorist. My payments are 62.80 a month for everything. That rocks. The mariner is fully loaded and 4x4. Its really like awd but its marketed as a 4x4. went through the snow with no problems. I tried to get it stuck and it just wouldn't stop.

Oh we are definetly going with Ford. I think they have the best deals now. We may go back down tonight and try to work some numbers. We get X plan on Ford also.

The Edge is awesome (but a little pricey) and we were going to get an Escape but ended up getting a Mariner. We've test drove pretty much every new Ford. We LOVE our Mariner though! It is the perfect amount of space...not too big, not too small. We thought about getting a new F150, but figured the Mariner was more practical for us and will make a great family vehicle.

My sister picked up a 2010 Black Focus SES last night, from you guessed it.. Terry. it's a pretty sharp car! alot nicer than her Saturn Ion. We're working on my wife's mom now hehe
