lupos hands down, only company to weld input shaft to the drum, never has a 2-3 flair, and has been in more 8 sec cars then anyone else. Plus, they are very reasonable on their costs.

C-4s are junk. Nobody has a c4 that can handle above 1000hp. But if you want a c4 we've bought like 7 from redneck and had good luck for the most part. Plus they come with any converter you want free with the tranny

I second redneck no issues other than the pan is cheap chrome pan. Lasted longer than my father-in-laws art carr.

how much is big power? 700 or less c4's live for awhile,it will go thru clutches.
a c6 or 400 turbo or a glide would be better choice if over 700.
c4's lupo is about the best out there,i know a couple guys with rednecks both good and bad reviews.

I know of more than a few peeps having great reliability from Performance Automatic's Super Comp C4's... FWIW.
They're rated at 1,000 plus hp.

Yeah but for the 2500 they want for it you can buy two rednecks. My buddy has a PA super comp in his coupe. Its broke right now and he's n/a and probably only pushing 300 to the wheels.

Can't speed shift those past 6500-7000 rpms, just like hitting a wall. You would have to have it faceplated/proshifted to be able to bang gears... I've had 4 diff ones and same issue with all of them....

dependable and c-4 dont go together..every high hp car i have seen has broken its pa super comp...even fully build 12 roller bearing c-4's break. build a c-6 if you want durability.

Frank merkl runs his in the 7's pass after pass every week, only freshens it up in the winter. and just flush's the fluid after so many pass's. he is also the man that has fixed the c-6 tci trans brake issue on the 2-3 shift. But he also build his own valve bodys.
Call jay @ broader performance and order one of his kits. build one with the right parts, and your not going to break it. hell the stock input shaft has went 8's, and will do 9's all year long. only thing they make for these after a hardened input shaft is a billet front drum. then there good for 2000hp..lol.
