Just heard about this last night at work. A coworker said the owner raised the rent and they shut down.

Yeah I was going to a job out in Amelia yeatsr day and just happen to look over that way going to Amelia and the building was vacant. I thought to myself no way you're just looking at the wrong place but on the way back I looked again and yeah they are all closed up. We just ate there not too long ago.

Yea I heard they were closing last fall but they didn't so figured it was just a rumor.

From what i have been told, The origional plan was to close that location and the mt washington location after putting one in around the Anderson town center.

The owner of the building got an offer from a guy that is going to open a chinese type place up in that location.

I guess since he knew that bw3 would leaving within the year that instead of letting it sit empty that he would take the other place up on the offer.

I heard that the place is going for 10k a month to rent out. Thats what i have been told from a teller from my bank.

Does anyone know if something will go in the old Hooters building? I can't believe that place is still empty. Then again i can't believe the Butterbee's building stayed empty for so long either, being right next to 3 hotels and right off the interstate you'd think it would be prime location for a good restaurant. I've got a coworker who can't say enough about Butterbees.
