My black lab had 7 pups today, she accidentally got knocked up by my St.Bernard. Crazy mix but they are some cute pups. It's 6-9 weeks but if anyone wants one it'll just cost whatever the shots cost. Both parents are very friendly house trained dogs. If you want a friendly well behaved dog that scares the neighbors on size alone you won't find a better combo. 2 are already accounted for. We thought she only had 4 and left her to feeding, we took her out to clean it up and found the rest. The first one didn't make it, I think the mother may have accidentally killed it.

And if I get one of the pups, It's not going to want to drive a Thunderchicken in 27.5 months is it ??? (1 human year = 7 dog years ... 27.428 human months = 16 dog years) LMAO !!! :lol:

Chances are good, comfortable cars are addictive!

Jake had a little alone time with the mother so we are waiting to see what happens. The pups are for the most part all black with a few of them having white on their chest,paws, and tip of the tail.

Hard to say right now they were born yesterday, the father has long hair and the mother has relatively short.

I will get pics soon. Final count is 2 boys (one accounted for) and 4 girls.They are very cute pups. White chests and white tips of their feet and tails. One has a white stripe like a skunk on his head (Pepe)

sorry about no replies the mother has been very sick and we are having to bottle feed the puppies. It appears the mother has a condition known as milk fever accomapined by an infection in her uterus. We took her to a vet that just wanted to charge us several hundred dollars to do blood work and overlook the obvious. I did a little reading today and that is what I found out. At which point I called a couple of vets who think that is likely the condition. I will keep everyone posted.
