Hi all, it's been a long time for me being on here. Life has gotten in the way! So I recently picked up a 2003 Mercury Marauder and have already made plans for it. My question is this, who would be best to dyno tune the car? I'm a member over at merurymarauder.net and apparently someone over there had a bad experience at Paul's. Realizing the engine is the same one that was put in the Mach 1, how hard would it be to get a good tune in the car? Also, mods...please move for me putting this in Windsor instead of Modular. Thanks!

We can do it.

Here is one we did alot of work and custom fabrication on. James was happy with the end results.:)

Nope, 4.6. Deck height was too high to clear the stock hood. Good vid Craig, but I'm planning on putting the Eaton from my Cobra on there. You don't think that would be an issue would it?

Trilogy motorsports has done numerous times, I believe they have a kit.

Building a marauder with s stock transmission and converter is asking for trouble. I suggest building the drivetrain to handle the power then throw the power at it.

Trilogy does make a kit, but like I said, I'm using the Eaton from my Cobra once I get the Whipple for it. I'll be saving some money also by going that route.

I'm very well aware of that. I already have a Precision Industries 3000 stall and I'm debating on whether to use a 4R75W from an 04 or just build the 4R70W that I have. I'm not stranger to powertrain builds. I appreciate your input but all I'm looking for in this thread is who in town would be the best to tune the car.

Man i'd love to see a Shelby 5.4 in one of these.

You know, if there were an aftermarket hood that gave clearance for the deck height and S/C you'd see many. Hell, there are almost 200 Trilogy kits out there! Some guys spring for the Novi, Procharger or Vortech though due to ease of install.
