Need help deciding on a nice car

I'm from Cincinnati regularly but im enlisted in submarine school for the navy and im looking for a car i can drive back home every once in a while to come see my family etc. Ive been looking at getting a 05 or 06 gto but im running into problems with finding one. was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a 18 year old looking for something fun but reliable for my age.

If you want something you can afford insurance on get a mid to late '90's Mustang or Camaro/Firechicken. Don't put yourself in the place of paying high ass insurance and possibly a car payment when your going to be out to sea 6 months of the year. IMO
