Since i'm happy with my last post, i figure netflix needs a thumbs up as well.
Signed up for a trial. For 8.99 a month. This rocks. We got couples retreat via email.
I have been watching old school incredible hulk episodes in the backround at work instead of music.
Been watching lost at home with the wife. They have a great collection of live stream shows and movies.
I also got the ps3 disc, streaming is slower, but the quality is better. I'm going to try hardlining my PS3 in and see if it gets better. I'm on wifi right now with it.
The shows play instantly on the puter though in like 5 seconds, if that.
Im ready to dump my movie channels.

I've been doing it for a while also. I added bluray movies for a extra two dollars a month. I have no problem with the live streaming on my ps3. The only thing I'd say bad is not a lot of new movies are up for streaming.

Mine is hardlined and other than the inital "booting" up time, it is just as quick as the computer...quality is about the same.

I haven't had that issue in awhile. I had an issue with a postal employee "borrowing" the discs.

Wifi. I've never had a problem with a movie cutting out or anything. Picture quality on some aren't as good as others. Some are hi-def and some aren't. That might be what you are experiencing.

Netflix is awesome! We've received 3 movies via mail, and watch 10 or so instantly. I also did the BluRay upgrade. Not bad for $11 a month!!

We have been a neflix member for about 13 months. It seemed great at first, we were getting movies back fast. Now we cant get any new movies at all. We have currently been waiting for over a week now and still no movies. I wonder if that is how they suck you in by giving all of the new members first dibs and the long term members the shaft. Anyone else having this problem>

I am not getting that problem... My wife usually updates the list early to get the new releases first in our queue so that when they come out we are already in line for them.

yeah the turn around time is really quick. We sent one back on Monday, and got our next queue on Wednesday. We got the Year One movie, it did freeze twice however. We reported it, and they offered to resend one if we wanted.
I recall reading that Netflix was the number one stolen mail item? What if someone steals the one you are sending back?

Here in the near future we won't be able to get a new release for up to 30 days after the come out on DVD. Netflix has already agreed to not send out Warner brothers for thirty days after release. Soon all movie company's will want the same deal. Unlike blockbuster whereas the movie company's get a percent of each time the movie is rented netflix pays a onetime fee and the company's get nothing each time that movie is sent out. With the popularity of mail rentals going up the movie company's say they are losing money. They say they make the most off of DVD sales within the first 30 days of sales so if they eliminate the competition they think their profits will go up.

I've had Netflix for over a year now. Unless there is a Holiday I can get a new movie within 3 days. Day 1 send the movie in, Day 2 Netflix recieves the old movie and sends out a new movie, Day 3 I recieve my next movie.

I believe the closest to Cincy is up here in Dayton.
