OK. I have been cooped up too long. Who wants to go to Shooters in Independence and put some holes in some targets? I am thinking some evening next week. How does Monday or Tuesday sound? If we get there around 6:00 or so, we could get in a good hour. I have a years pass I got for Xmas. Cost is 14.00 for an hour per lane. 2 shooters per lane. You have to buy a range card for 5 bucks which is good for a year.
The range is in the basement. Heated, 25 yards, cabled target holders, and about the cleanest place in the tri state. Nice people and a great selection if you want to buy something too!!
Post up when you can make it.

just a general question, since im not 21, but i have a handgun can i still shot it down there or any other range??

Here in KY it's legal to own a handgun as long as your 18, you just cant buy it from a FFL dealer. There's no "registry" for handguns in KY, so you'd be good down here. Dont know what the laws are in Ohio though.

Stacy, I think there will be a good selection for you to try. I will bring a "few". Hee hee!!!!
My little bro in law is coming in from colorado. He deploys to Iraq in mid march. Last visit home for a while. The cookout will be at my house sunday or Tuesday. I will know soon. So if we can plan on Monday the 22nd, that works for me!!!

Rifles ARE allowed. .223, 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54, .22, etc etc pretty much all except the .50 bmg and a few ultra powerful or ultra fast rounds. I will bring my AR and my 9mm and .45 acp. I could bring my .308 but it rattles the windows. LOL!!!!

If I throw the cookout on Sunday for my brother in law, then Tuesday will work. If It snows too much, then the cookout is on for tuesday. That is why I am thinking Monday will be the day. Hope you can make it!!

Well, tomorrow is Monday. I plan on being at my shop at around 5:00 to pack everything up. Make it to shooters around 6:00. I am sure they will be busy so maybe head downstairs around 6:30...... Shoot till 7:30 or so..... Head out from there to dickmans for a beer or two. Sounds like a plan to me. Who is with me?

Good to see you Steve. Got your .45 cleared......can't wait till the farm party to unleash the AR on some real targets. Never got a good explamation on why it was so loud. Had a pretty good group behind me for the last 2 mags. Damn it was loud!!!!!!

Keith i might have to tag along on this one, I've been wanting to get out my single shot .22 and play around with it. I've got about 500 or so rounds for it too (which shooting one at a time will take a loooong time..lol).
