Have been waiting for this to finalize so I could talk about it.
We've partnered with Susan G Koman for the Cure (http://ww5.komen.org/).
We'll be donating a portion of the proceeds as well as holding fund raising events in connection with the rally to help fight breast cancer. There will be multiple ways for people to participate and get involved for those that may not want to enter the rally but want to help.
If you don't know about Susan G Koman, you should check out the link. They've provided over $1 Billion in funding for research grants and breast cancer awareness.
One of my clients, a small pharmaceutical company, relies on research grants from organizations like SGK. The work they are doing with Saposin C and nucleic acid delivery is absolutely mind boggling and is showing a lot of promise. Also seems to work on ANY type of cancer. They simply can't continue without organizations like SGK and the people who donate to them.
