Hello everyone!
When your car is covered in snow-keep in mind you will cause swirls and light abbrasions when you push it off with a traditional snow brush. Consider wrapping a microfiber towel around the bristles so as not to inflict damage to the paint or remove wax.

if you were unlucky enought to put a bunch of swirl marks on your car 3m makes an awesome swirl / scuff remover. its in their professional line so i have only seen it at paint supply stores. well worth the $

I watched my neighbor yesterday clean his car off with a metal shovel...all I could do was stand, stare and just laugh....what an idiot.

I always just use cloth diapers that have been soaked in lavender water to remove any snow or ice from my car ...

my daily is a "junker" 94 altima with rust on the 1/4s like all mid early 90s japanese sedans. Mechanically it's in tip top condish but I couldn't stand to daily a really nice car. I worry enough about my 91 mustang, it's a daily, it will get used and abused regularly. rock chips, parking lot dings, in and out with snow/dirt/grime/wet boots/shoes/greasy clothes etc, I keep it nice on the inside but it's just so exposed by being in the elements every single day that it'd go batshit crazy if I was trying to keep it a show car. Gets me to work and stupid errands without guzzling gas. Reliability and mpg, 2 max criteria of a daily imo. I grab whatever I can to get the snow off and hit the road. Plus when I do get to ride my bike or drive the mustang it's that much more of a treat. i did the daily drive my toy thing, knocks it down a few pegs for me. hate racking up miles and getting it out in the weather. Would cringe if I HAD to drive my mustang to work in this salty shit weather.
