WTB cheap ipod mabey touch?

Anybody got an ipod they dont use???? I had a 30g ipod classic for close to 5 years with A TON of use before it finally died on me a few weeks ago. Took it to the Apple store and they wanted like 100 bucks to fix it! There was no way Im spending 100 bucks on that old beat up ipod that has probly been droped 1000 times or more by now. I have got more than my moneys worth out of it. Not sure what I want to go with now, thinking about getting an iphone when my sprint contract is up in a few months but cant really go that long without an ipod. a treadmill is really boaring when you are not rocking out! anybody got anything?

What's wrong with your iPod? Most of the fixes can be done yourself for very cheap. Search YouTube.

I think it was beyond an easy fix. they said the hard drive was bad? I sold it on ebay for 40 bucks. I couldnt belive it went for that much

Well you could've put a new 100gb drive in it for about $100, so to someone who doesn't have an iPod that's a 100gb iPod for $140.

i pods work on a flash drive so they are easy to change

140 bucks seems like a lot to me for an old ipod classic that looked like it had been droped of the eiffel tower more than once but if they are happy I am happy. I got more than my moneys worth of use out of it. being able to get 40 bucks out of it when it broke was just a bouns to me.
