I did and it wasn't anything special. I am glad I sat out Saturday though because everyone I talked to told me how awful it was. Nothing like a little snow to screw up a good thing.

why does everyone stress so much about snow. Its only a problem if you don't know how to drive in it..

It is a problem when you get stuck around others that don't know how to drive in it. I had somebody in a 4x4 Jeep spin out in my neighbor's yard. 30' further, they would have put my Mazda into my sister's Blazer.
Or when I have to go to work at 5am Saturday morning and the yahoos are driving 30mph in the clear lane and force me to pass them in the crappy lane(s). I had the pucker factor up there a few times.
Further North you go, it got pretty bad. Parents are in Sidney and they got 15". The drift in the back yard buried one of their cars. Their friend had to borrow a buddy's front end loader to clear his drive for the Super Bowl. He got his 4wd F350 stuck trying to plow a 4.5' deep drift.

Looks like 8" more heading this way. High winds to follow the snow storm will surely close off backroads due to drifting.

Did someone say drifting?:cool1:
I am trying to decide if I want to pack up ski gear and throw it in the car with me when I head to work in the morning.

I work outside everyday. I hope it either snows 6 inches by 6am or none!

^^^^ I'm not working but supervising a job that's outside. This weather sucks for the guys working though. Today I get to work and the trench boxes has a few inches of ice on the bottom so walking was dangerous. I need it to warm up and stay warm to get this job finish by May.

Well my hour and half ride only took me a extra 50 minutes this morning. Not to bad considering 32 didn't look like it had been touched. Get to work and only one guy had shown up out of 5. Worked till noon then called it a day. Seen maybe 5 vehicles in the ditch. One car, two SUV and two trucks. Damn 4x4s think the own the road in the snow and that's usually what I see in the ditch.

Had to go pick up my new TV today. Ended up taking the Blazer 4x4.
Saw a MkIV Supra in the ditch on 675. Other than that, the new tires from a SBZ member and 4wd kept me in my lane. I did a couple fun slow speed drifts around corners in my neighborhood.

Semi drivers suck ****s when the roads are bad!
A22holes run 75MPH when everyone else is doing like 40MPH. They just HAVE to get that roll of steel somewhere FAST!
I swear to God if one of them wipes out in front of me and takes innocents with them, I'll pull them out of their cab and beat them senseless!

Well, I've now driven in white out conditions.......22/3 from Hopkinsville to Fields Ertel, 30 minutes. 20-30 mph head wind blowing all the new fluffy snow = THE SUCK!!!!!!
I was mostly above idle in second gear (autotragic) with the Civic. I wasn't sliding just couldn't see a damn thing! The bridge over the Little Miami and old 3C was scary. I drove down the middle (I think) and couldn't see the barrier walls on either side.
Be safe!
