i hate to sound like a dumb ass but what is a real gt40 intake? is it different than the one's for a hundred bucks eveywere?

the gt 40 intake uses the same lower intake and the upper iintake is similiar but has a different look to it.its usually referred to as tubular style.i think it is good for a 425 horse engine instead of the cobra upper which is good for a 400 horse engine if my memory serves me right,plus they look killer as an added bonus,and lighter in weight as well..them real gt 40 intakes were around 600 bucks new when they still made them.

The upper is amazingly lightweight. Thanx 1baddlx for the explanation. This upper is gonna make more power than the cobra and explorer upper intakes.
