Well I just purchased a 1988 GT with only 66k miles...but it is wrecked. Took a good hit in the driver door. From the A-pilars forward car is great shape as is the rear half. Just the driver door and rear quarter are FUBAR.

Anyhow...I bought this car mainly for the engine to put in my FHP SSP. However, I got thinking...and was considering building a notch from the ground up. Maybe putting my 'vert motor in it with all the other parts coming from this '88 GT. I have looked everywhere but the only decent ones I come across our at least 4 hours away in my price range.

I would like to be in the neighborhood of $1000 for it. Not worried about interior as the '88 has some of the best porno red interior I have seen. Mainly needs to be rust free and not beat to hell and ready for the scrap yard.

I am going to look for a couple weeks before I just go ahead and start parting out what I don't need from the '88.

Not a Notch but seems like it would be perfect to swap your good parts over too...

Appreciate that. That car would be a good starting point, but I am wanting to go more a street cruiser route. Which if he would be willing to keep some of the stuff I might be able to get the shell for what I want. Hmmm

Thanks for posting that. The other one I found is in MI, just four hours away. Waiting to hear back from him on a couple quesitons I had.

Where is the white 92 located at? That would make a bad ass ride.

The green and gray two tone is my favorite color combo. I always wanted one. It is sad to see it in that shape.

Yeah, when I was in high school my neighbor bought one brand new. I like the dark green color by itself too...makes me miss my old '92 LX
